Salvation or Socialism ? - What did Jesus teach

"Then he will answer them, saying, Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it me. And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." -Matthew 25:45-46 (esv)

On March 7, 2017 Joe Scarborough of "Morning Joe"  was quoting scripture in Matthew 25.  View the clip here starting at time stamp 1:50 In short stating Jesus was teaching that it is okay for the Government to enact social programs for the poor and the least.  This belief is not true.  In the story of the Sheep and the Goats Jesus is telling the unsaved the consequences of not helping the least.  Jesus was speaking to each individual Heart, not the Government. Jesus not speaking to the Government.  In fact Jesus taught  to give to the Government what they mandate, and to give to God what he request. (Matthew 22:21).

Jesus  teaches us through the Gospels and the New Testament that we should take the opportunity to do good to the lost and the saved (Galatians 6:10) . Jesus teaches acts of kindness are not motivated by mandates, but by Mercy.  It's L.O.V.E. and Mercy we are to show one another.  Jesus wants us give to others of our own free will. Jesus teaches us in scripture that giving is done by the indivual. Jesus teaches them to give from their hearts, and they want to because of his love for them. (Philippians 2:4 / Hebrews 3:16 ).   Therefore, helping  others is from Jesus' gift of salvation not a mandate of Socialism.

If you want to know about the Jesus that wants to give you Salvation everlasting instead of Socialism that is only temporary. Then i encourage and pray for you to visit the "Steps 2B Saved tab at the top of this web page.
