Thankfulness on Thanksgiving

" let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. - Colossians 3:15-17.

It's Thanksgiving time in the United States. An official Holiday by the US Government. Blessed by famous leaders like George Washington to Abraham Lincoln. Today we will take time to have food and fellowship with our Family...Friends...Loved ones. This Pleases King Jesus. Who wanted us to take time to enjoy one another. To sing tell jokes....catch up on each others life. Time to hold a hand in comfort....time to hug someone in need.. Time to remove the scars that kept us apart.....Pray for someone to remove a curse or be blessed.....Time to laugh...time to forget the world....time to share...time to care....time to be just like Jesus would have wanted.....time to be like him....WWJD- 1 John 2:6 .

I Love Thanksgiving it's a time to put on the brakes of Life's haste, and reflect...rejoice....repent...renew and to be T-H-A-N-K-F-U-L. It should not be just this day, but as many days as possible so we can fit in all the things we are, or should be thankful for..... Thankful for the air in our Lungs....our wives, our husbands, our very lives...the Salvation offered freely to us by Jesus Christ...our Moms, dads, sisters, brothers, our best friends,  The Armed Forces, our Rewards and Reabliitations. It does not matter who was elected....who passed this bill or that bill...who statys...who goes....who is right....who is wrong.... WHAT MATTERS IS TO HAVE L.O.V.E. - 1 John 3:16 (Lord's Ongoing Visual Example) which in heart allows us to be Thankful, and to express Thankfullness to anyone, even if they are our Enemy. This is what Thanksgiving is all about.
As you spend time celebrating Turkey Day with all the fixings ((YUMM !!!)) try to reach out to someone you have never reached out to before. Trying showing them why they are Thankful.
I hope Jesus is at your table....I hope you break bread with him this Thanksgiving Day. IF you do not know him, it is my prayer you talk with him at the dinner table and do not leave the table until you and Jesus become best friends.... Please enjoy Thanksgiving and be Thankful and Giving. To know more about Jesus visit
