“ The Heart in Critical Condition”

In this world that we live in, there are many types of people.  Who live, learn, and love in ways that are different perhaps then there neighboring country or culture.  Most of the people on this planet despite what they do for a living, where they live, or who they live with want to be loved.  Most people do not want to be lonely. They search for it everywhere, and in everything.  They search for it in work...a good friend or pets....people long to be cared be loved...these are all the wrong directions, and end up in sadness or dead-end emptiness.

So what is truly L.O.V.E.?  Is it sex ?-- is it a feeling more serious than friendship?-- is it a mutual agreement to stand by each other until death?  Some would tell you yes.  The Bible has a different picture it paints on this:

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

As we read the bible passage above we see what  L.O.V.E. is.  During Jesus earthly ministry everything He did, and everything He taught, He did by example.  Jesus show great patience time & again  when presenting the gospel, and people were hard-headed to understand or believe it.  Jesus showed Kindness when healing the lost, people who other would not even get near or give the time of day.  Jesus was never jealous of the sadducees, pharisees, He simply stuck to God’s plan for man.  Jesus did harbor the sins, and wrongdoings of people, He looked deeper....he showed them compassion... He showed them  L.O.V.E.   That is why Jesus came to them, and to us..... because their hearts...and our hearts were and are in critical condition.

L.O.V.E. there are many forms of love....for wife/husband....for a friend....for your children.  These kinds of love are good but not great unless above all you have agape love. This a greek word that means more than love.  This Agape love is and of God, it’s the very nature of God himself.  So this L.O.V.E. God gives to us:

John best describes it here:
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends (John 15:13)  and as we read in the gospels Jesus gave the ultimate L.O.V.E. In that He laid His life down for us, that we might get to enjoy life forever with God the Father in Heaven.

God knows we get lonely....God knows are heart is sad from it.  God’s heart breaks when our heart breaks.  He longs for us to find him.  Until we go home to heaven.  God gave us the gift of having an earthly husband or wife to continue the journey with (Genesis 2:18)  to help give us understanding we will be His son’s bride someday.   God gave us the gift of having our own children so we could experience a taste of the love God has for us--His Children.  God gave us friendships so we can understand a love He has for us as we can become His best friends through Jesus Christ. It all starts off with this practice to follow L.O.V.E.

If we become the Lord’s ongoing visual example.  If people see Jesus love in us, their soul will see that....want that...practice that....the world then will experience that true love...a lasting love....God’s love.  There are 763 verses in the New Living Translation of the bible that mention love.  The Bible as plenty to say on L.O.V.E. ..God has plenty of L.O.V.E. to give, and when He gives is freely to you....He wants you to share it the same way with the world.  That’s how we fixed the Critical Condition of the Heart. We spread the L.O.V.E.

There are so many hearts today that are in Critical Condition.  They been stepped on...cut open with hurt...scarred from betrayal. Sadly some people conduct a quick patch job on the heart to stop the bleeding (one night relationships with no real attachment).  Jesus has the only  L.O.V.E. that stop the bleeding and restore a heart’s critical condition.  Jesus says with His own words in John 15:9 that He loves with the same love that the Father give him.  He tells us next to simply “remain in my love” It's an unconditional does not cheat on does not lie to you.

If you have not experience that L.O.V.E. than go to Jesus...tell him you want it.  He died so you could have it.  Jesus is ready to take your burdens and give you rest (Matthew 11:28)
