God’s Will-- our will ???
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. Isaiah 55:8
As Christians we must live in faith everyday. It’s not easy to know everything that God has in store for us. If we don’t listen closley we will sometimes miss what he has for us.
As we grow in Jesus we should be growing closer and closer to God’s will. To the point where the will in our lives is now the will that God has. If we don’t do his WILL, God’s will-will continue without us and we will miss opportunities and blessings
Now in our daily walk with the Lord our missions can be a little different then other christians. God does use us in different ways...at different times...in different circumstances for his Grand will and purpose. However there are pieces of God’s will that we all should be doing all the time.
IN GOD's WILL WE ....
(1) Teach the Good news John 6:40 = Its’ the Father’s will to teach them & Matt 28:16-20 = Jesus gave us this mission directly.
(2) Quiet time with the Father. Mark1.35 & Luke5.16 the fact that Jesus revealed to us He had quiet time..shows just how important quiet time is with the Father.
(3) pray continously 1Thess5.17 never stop praying--pray for all things..all the time, we need constant prayer & quiet time to learn...know...act on God's will.
(4) be obediant: John12.26 =Jesus said to serve me you must do what i teach & say. 1 Sam. 15:22 =says that God wants our obedience even over our sacrifice.
(5) give freely Prov3.9 = make God’s missions the 1st thing that comes from your paycheck.
(6) Help our fellow soldiers: Deut15.7. Be generous with physical needs to your brothers & sisters--give as God gives. Gal 6.1. = we must all be generous when helping our brothers & sister spiritually as well..be there when their down. RESCUE ANY & ALL OFF THE BATTLEFIELD Matt18.14
(7) Blossom in your Walk. Col1.10. -It’s Gods’ will for you to honor Him with the life you live...doing every kind of good work that would better the Kingdom. Although on earth in the flesh we will never come close to perfect we must strive for that goal=Matt5.48. just as Jesus LIVED that goal.
God’s will for us is all these things above...and yes much more....our service to God’s will-- never ends...God wants to give ample chance for all to come home. Matt18.14 Our will ….simply should be...God’s will....to Be All That The Lord Expects Offering Forgiving Sinners One Unconditional Lasting Salvation. In doing so....your will---will be God’s will.
